I think one reason girls are not so present in riding is because a dude usually doesn't make the invitation. Or? One of the best feelings I had last summer was teaching a girlfriend to flow the airs and not ride them.... she is so stoked this season she's got a few more girls coming along.... looks like I'm going to be busy this summer:-) And I like it. And I think addikted2anal makes the same point. As for Mitchell.... I think you have to clarify to everyone you live in Nelson but you are not from Nelson. (I've been there a few times and well you are giving the the dudes a bad wrap).

I think bikesaremad is angry.... :-) why the bashing when everyone is wanting to theorize on why they are so expensive. I suppose having to pay blackspireAaron to reply to all us internet cowboys also adds a few bucks to the price. I can add that on my all mountain rig, I had a gamut dual roller guide for half a season but that got ate up one day.... i replaced it with the blackspire stinger (mainly cause it was cheaper and has the coolest logo in the world - the beaver!! - and that thing still takes a beating. Its started its 2nd full season this year. and don't make fun of me cause I have a dually roller guide!! ohja, I work for a manufacturing company but I don't explain to any of you why things are priced the way they are. That would ruin all the fun.

@starkbiker, no arguing meant from me... just was for real wondering what you meant. There is science involved, but its only intended benefit is for a re harvest in much less time as a natural forest. The story was about sharing land for riding:-) So, my long term goal is riding till I'm old.

ok lets not get in to a discussion about clear cuts or selective logging, but lets point out some facts. A clear cut is short term revenue but long term limited shared use. After going through a reforestation program, the nicely planted genetically modified trees are stronger and growing faster than the native vegetation. I know that the statement " there is a lot of science behind forestry" is true... but its not for the benefit of mother nature. @starcbiker, i'd like to know what "the long term goal needs to be kept in mind" is.

If I might say so.... IF the industry would adapt some slightly more ecological means to extract resources, this would be better accepted. Such as the question, is a clear cut better for the environment (mother nature and the people who want to use it) than selective logging? Forestry says "way healthier" and common sense suggest not. (not scientifically proven my common sense albeit rather from experience). Most of Europe is having to manage forests by selective logging for two reasons - the size of available land (too small) requires consideration for the others that use it (share with your friends). And everyone gets along.... with more people, you would think you'd have larger potential of conflict but guess what..... both sides know they must share, and they get along. example is on my local bike trail, last fall the loggers put up nice signs saying "logging in progress". After two weeks and they moved on, the trail was still rideable!! Thus the term Mitchell used... once a Forestry company has gone through a cut block, forget trying to use it. Mining? Its a bit different since an open pit mine is not so easy to share no matter how hard you try. This land is my land, this land is your land, lets all just ride and share our girlfriends and drink beer and smoke dope:-) hahaha, just to stir the bees nest .... :-)

why the hell does PB website always log me out automatically after 2 weeks, EVEN THOUGH I OPEN THE SITE about EVERYDAY??? I always forget my friggin password.... (don't get that on me, work passwords that change every 4 weeks, bank, websites, this and that, here and there... friggin 100 passwords, how can a man cope????????????) I prefer the Reverb but for sure with the stealth option, i've broken two damn nipples last year, and not from crashes. No clue actually. Maybe a squirrel.

ya i agree half the way... my remedy cracked and when I compare the two, I'd have to say the Devinci Dixi won't be doing that... its built "tougher" cause Canadian trails are "tougher" hahaha. I can say that :-) ps I ride a Scratch now, and thankful my remedy cracked because some "burl" is required for tougher trails:-) ride on!
